Ministerio de Industria, Turismo y Comercio. By Order of 21st may of 1991, published in BOE nº156, of 1st july of 1991, allows to AFITI the management of the Laboratory for Investigation and Fire Control (LICOF).

Ministerio de Fomento. By the Regulation of 1st april of 1986, published in BOE nº127, 28 th may of 1986, LICOF is accredited to perform all the test in according with the materials said in this regulation. |

European Commission. By the Comunication 2002/C 282/01, of 19th november 2002, AFITI-LICOF was acknowledged as Notify Body under System 3 for aislant thermal products and plaster products. Notify Body Nº 1168. |

European Group of Organisations for Fire Testing, Inspection and Control (EGOLF). Since 15th march of 1985 LICOF was acknowledged as Reaction to Fire Laboratory and as Resistance to Fire Laboratory. And since 2004 with the new Technical Committee TC5 for Fire Fighting Systems & Equipment. |

International Maritime Organisation (IMO). By the Circular FP /Circ.18 it authorizes LICOF to carrying out tests according to the International Code for the Application of Procedures. |

VKF-AEAI. Since the 30 th of june of 2006 AFITI-LICOF has been acknowledged by the Estructural Engineering Technical Commission (FBT) and the Association of Public Building Insurance Companies (VKF) as a testing laboratory within the Swiss certification and homologation process by the VKF. |

EFECTIS. Since 15th of july of 2007 AFITI-LICOF is full member of EFECTIS, the exchange of knowledge, expertise and services between the both organizations allows to reply the needs of fire safety, with the best technical and human resources and extensive experience.
