AFITI currently provides services through three separate areas or departments, LICOF Centre for Fire Testing and Research, Department of Certificaciont and Inspection and Department of Technological Services, thereby covering any fire-related needs that may exist in today's society.

The Centre for Fire Testing and Research (LICOF) starts its activity in 1975 and acting in the field of Fire Safety, through its three testing laboratories, giving a suitable response to the demand for testing, research, development and technological innovation of materials, products and construction elements as well as for fire protection systems and equipment in its facilities in Madrid and Toledo.

The Department of Certification and Inspection carries out the certification of products and systems, and inspection of establishments to determine their compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. This department helps manufacturers by providing the necessary steps for obtaining the CE Mark by product standard or by ETAG/DITES Guides.

El Department of Technology Services satisfies the needs for studies and research in the field of Fire Safety, and supports the industry of Fire Safety.
